Unable to download SkyGo on my MacBook Air M2

I have been trying to download SkyGo on my new apple Macbook Air M2, but the app never opens after I have downloaded the software. 

As per oter threads, I have deleted the download, cleared all the associated SkyGo data (cache etc), and still it will not open after I have re-downloaded the software. 

I know that this has been an issue for loads of people based on other threads, but they have all been closed. 

Please can someone help?!

Go hasn't worked in a browser for several years (it ceased to function when the Microsoft Silverlight plug-in was deprecated)

worst still I phoned SkyGo help and kept being sent links to community forum

They have no idea why it won't load with Macbook Air M3

Said they would call back but haven't

Pathetic service
