Hi,
I'm trying to set up Sky Go on my Apple TV+ box but even though I can view Sky Go through the app on my phone and tablet I get an error message saying me email isn't verified when I try on apple TV
Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi,
If I scan the QR code it just takes me to the account login page so I log in and I can see all my account info, including my email address, but there is no option anywhere to verify my email.

Possibly when I set my account up years ago but I am not getting any other emails asking me to verify my account so I am just going around in circles

Find out moreTo see if they can help you with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to a few hours to be contacted via this.
This link explains how this works so you will need to respond to the chat bubble at the bottom of the page when it appears:

When the chat bubble does appear you will have 48 hours to respond or it will be automatically closed.
This isn't a live chat so replies are not instant.

HI,
I can't remember exactly what I did now but I seem to recall I had to login to Sky on my laptop and confirm my account again. No idea why but after that I was able to install the app on my Appe TV+ and it is all working fine.

My Sky go app on appleTV 4K gets the same "need to verify your email" message but Sky go works fine on my iPhone, iPad, Mac and PS4.
Any idea how to fix it?

Fixed!
I had the same issue on 2 separate Apple tv's and had checked with Sky that my email address was verified and my credentials were correct.
I needed to login to Sky.com
Press the person icon located top right.
select My Details
then Manage Sky ID
scroll down to Security Question and make sure this section is completed.
login to skyGo on Apple TV again and it should be fine.

I don't have a security question section, just the option to change my password 😞

I'm also having this issue and I too do not have a security question option in the manager my sky ID section of the sky website. If anyone can assist that would be greatly appreciated

I'm a new sky Q customer with multi room streaming with 2 additional pucks. I can access sky go on my MacBook and my iPhone but I am having issues with Apple tv. I get a prompt with a QR code telling me to go to https://skyidapp.sky.com/servicesignup/service/skygo (which doesnt work).
The error states: We couldnt log you in. The email address you're using has not been verified. Please visit the link below to finish setting up your account and then try again.
when I sign into sky.com, under my details and manage my sky ID there is no option to add verification questions, as per a previous post.
any help welcome please!
