Skygo on Windows- Black screen when trying to watch

Hi, Skygo won't work for me. Takes a while to open but eventually I can select a channel from the TV guide but then it just goes to a black screen with nothing else happening no matter what I try to watch. Sometimes it has a small white circle going round in the middle, other times it's just black.

This is on a freshly rebuilt HP Envy laptop that ran it fine before the windows reinstall. I've reinstalled Skygo again but it just does the same.

Can anyone help?

Just to be clear, it's not the whole screen that goes black, just the Skygo window.

If the window isn't using full screen have you tried popping it out to make it bigger as I seem to recall that this was a fix from a few years ago.

Hi, thanks for the reply. Unfortunately small or maximised makes no difference. Checking network usage it is not downloading anything significant so not playing but not visible.

If you get sound not picture I have had that issue for over a year and told Sky about it.

 

There is a work around, open task manager and there will be 4 tasks associated with Sky-Go. Try killing them, its never the first one in the list in my experience, usually the second or third.
