Sky Go works fine on my Tablet except when trying to access Sky Sports. A blue window appears and says "You sky content cannot currently be viewed in this country" I am on the UK. Tried 3 times to contact Sky customer services but got cut off 3 times. Nothing has been changed on the Tablet. Works OK on PC and Mobile.

If you are not and the tablet is connected to your wifi try a reboot if your broadband router by leaving it off for 30 minutes then see if Sky Sports will work on Sky Go. If it still doesn't work then see if the Sky Sports app will work instead as you can view the live Sky Sports channels via it.

Hi thanks for the answer. I am not using a VPN. I did a short reset of the Router, I will unplug it for 30 minutes. I do not know what you mean about trying the on the App, I am using the App on the tablet.

This was helpful, I can see Sky Sports via the sky sports app, but I would still like to know why it says I can't see Sky Sports via Sky Go from this country when I am in the UK. I also had problems accessing BBC iPlayer since changing Broadband supplier but since the long reset of the Router it now works. I woner if this problem is caused by the Router or IP address.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIt could be an issue with your IP address so who is your broadband supplier and have you tried rebooting your broadband router by leaving it off for 30 minutes to see if it then pick up a new IP address ?

Hi, my new BB supplier is Community Fibre. I have tried a Router reset and turned it off for 3 hours and then re-booted. That fixed thr problem with iPlayer but not Sky Go. I have a technician coming today from Community Fibreso let's see what happens then.

I am NOT able to watch any Sky content using the Sky Go app. This is the message I get:
"You sky content cannot currently be viewed in this country" It is not just Sky Sports but all Sky content. I am in the UK.

I managed to report to Sky again as my ISP said it was a Sky problem. They told me they had other users with the same problemso, they also reported it to Sky. A lovely lady from Sky worked with me on this and referred it to Tech Support. Last night tried it again and it all works. I can now see all channels on the Sky Go App. Thanks to all you guys that tried to help.
