Sky go stopped working on Xbox series X

I'm having an issue, my sky app signed me out but now I've logged back in on my series X xbox but it's saying 

 

You can't use sky go on this device yet. You'll need Sky Q Multiscreen, Sky glass whole home or sky go extra but I have a subscription and it's worked for years but stopped today.

 

Please help.

Hi all,

 

Some clarification for those having issues here as there are a lot of the same questions. In order to watch Sky on a console you need to have ONE of the following as part of your subscription package:

 

  • Sky Q Multiscreen, or, 
  • Sky Glass Whole Home, or,
  • Sky Go Extra

Check your Sky bill to see if you have the above. If you do have one of the above packages, but still not able to watch Sky on your console, please call Sky and it will be looked into, or we can escalate the issue to a Community Messaging team.

I have the exact same issue, the Sky Go app updated, now I have been kicked out, and cant log back in. 

Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but still not letting me back on. 

Please help Sky, the Sky Go update has a bug.

I got the Sky Go update on my console today and it is fine, the issue seems to be with peoples accounts and not the app

Hi, could you also please help me with this issue? 

 

I have same console and exact same issue as the original post, Sky Go is not working on my Xbox One X. 

My console updated the app, and after the update I can no longer log in and am getting same message as above post. 

 

This is an Xbox One X, and not an Xbox One series X, as this confuses some people.

I was told my sky go extra would be added at no extra cost, the sky go app is still not working on my xbox, how do I get this working and has the service been added? I need this ASAP.

Was it the Messaging team on here that you spoke to about Sky Go Extra being added and if so was it a few days ago that they ttold you this ?

Yes, I validated my account and they said it could be added for free, said can take 24 hrs but still not working.
