Sky go recordings not showing on app

I've got sky q and have recently purchased a multiscreen subscription and was under the impression that when using the sky go apps I would be able to see my recordings. However there is no tab for the recordings when I access sky go on my Samsung phone and my ipad, is there something that I'm missing?

On the Sky Go app on both your iPad and Samsung phone is the connection to your Sky Q box via Settings turned on and also is it on via your Sky Q box itself ?

 

Are both devices on the same broadband connection that your box is on ?

I'm looking in the settings and I can't see anywhere to connect the devices to the sky q box, when I'm looking on my sky q box it has a tick next to the sky go option. All using the same broadband connection.

On the Sky Go app, select the settings option on the main homepage, it is a nut like icon at the top left.

Yes when clicking on the settings this is what I see, how do I connect it?

Is the app up to date as I see more options on my app and I don't have a Sky Q box ?

 

Under autoplay I see the "Connect to a Sky Q box" and then "Picture in Picture" and others that you are not ?

Yeah I thought I must be missing something haha, I'm on version 23.7.0 and it says no updates are available?
