Sky go not connecting to Q box

Well After spending hours and hours trying to get my phone to connect the Sky Go app to the Q box which I could achieve if I turned the phone off completely everytime and then it would revert back to not being able to locate the Sky Q Box , I suddenly twigged I had put the VPN on, took it off and immediately everything went back as it always was.  I cannot see my downloads and all of the TV programmes for that evening.    So anyone else having this nonsense.   try taking off that useless VPN.

When I had my  broadband from Eir it was hit and miss with the sky Go mostly miss,

Since going back to sky broadband no issues whatsoever, even though they say it shouldn't matter what supplier you have it certainly does
