Sky go no tnt sport download option

We are now on Sky stream, and I have lost my option on TNT sports to download to my device.

Can I do anything to resolve this.

Quick one. I can use the discovery plus app to watch all the sports. What's the difference between this one and using TNT sports app? How do I log into TNT when I pay through Sky

No I haven't, as because I bought it through Sky, I don't know I had that option. 

Shall I try that then, don't think that will work?

Hi, as I understand it, TNT had every minute of every session and race plus chequered flag..... i don't think you get all that on discovery, do you?

@Goldwheels You get access to basic Discovery+ with your Sky package. Mostly documentaries and reality TV.

When you buy TNT Sports through Sky your Discovery+ is upgraded to Discovery+ Premium with TNT Sports.

You can watch all the TNT Sports coverage or on demand content via the app, which should include all the stuff you are looking for. You can stream but cannot download.

@Super+Anthony The TNT Sports app is just for news and some basic highlights, basically a tool just to try and upsell TNT Sports subscriptions. It is pretty useless.

Just downloaded tnt sports and it's listing programs I want to watch but when I click on them, they don't open or run. 🤷‍♂️

Ok, thanks, I'll give that a go,  but I still don't think I'll be able to download content to my device......which was my original question.

Hi, I can watch events through Sky go, but as I said previously, I have lost the option to download to my device since going from SkyQ to Sky Stream, you can't download from Discovery plus app.

From the Discovery+ help pages:

Do you have an offline mode?
To stream shows and movies in discovery+, you'll need to be connected to the internet (e.g. on Wi-Fi or mobile data). There isn't an offline or downloads feature.

You can always complain to Discovery+ if you like about how their app works?

I have double checked Sky Go and there is some TNT and Eurosport content that can be downloaded assuming you have a subscription, but it is very limited, which is expected as they want you to use Discovery+.
