Sky Go

My partner and I became a new customer of Sky yesterday. The sales agent instructed us to download Sky Go. Upon signing in on my iPad I keep getting the following error message 'because of a technical issue you cannot watch this channel'. I have tried resetting the app and reinstalling it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Do I need to wait for my box to arrive before I can watch this?

You should be able to use the Sky Go app while you are waiting for your box to be activated so try linking your account to your main Sky ID as per this:

I have spoken with Sky this morning and they informed me that because of having only the essential tv package you have to wait until the broadband and box are installed. If you have the ultimate package you can access Sky Go straight away.
