Sky Go won't load. Pop up error screen contains "Error:ENOENT"

Sky Go has worked perfectly on our HP Windows 11 Laptop for at least 3 years. Yesterday it now wont load. A pop up screen indicates a very long error description starting with "A JavaScript error has occurred in the main process" and followed by  "Uncaught Exception: Error:ENOENT no such file or directory" then about 10 more lines of various code etc.

Very weird. Sky Q Boxes working perfectly, Sky Go also working ok on our iphone. No other unusual probs with all the other installed apps on the laptop which are all functioning normally.

Am denied access from uninstalling Sky Go (in order to try a reload) because the file doesn't exist so can't try that. HELP PLEASE.

Sounds like the same problem I've been having. Right click your Sky Go shortcut and "Open file location" and then delete SkyGo. This should let you re-install it. If it's the same issue this solved it for me.

I've had the same issue for around two weeks now? I completely uninstalled sky go along with any "residual" files, etc... sky go then opened... once... then it was back to the same long list of java errors 🤔
