Sky Go won’t install MacBook Air 2025

I have a MacBook Air 2020 using Apple M1 chip and OS sequoia 15.5.

I can download the SkyGo installer but when I go to install, it starts to but then stops right near the end of the blue progress bar.

Using the Terminal function on the Mac when it is installing it states the following:

"the install failed. Contact software manufacturer. An unexpected error occurred while moving files to the final destination."

I have read hundreds of previous forum entries. I have downloaded Rosetta and tried to install with and without it no joy.
I have been through these files and deleted any trace of the app and emptied the trash and restarted.

~/Library/Application Support

~/Library/Caches/

~/Library/Logs/

~/Library/LaunchAgents

~/Library/Cookies

~/Library/Group Containers

please can anyone offer any advice? Or Sky do you have any technical fixes?

i have retried those steps but unfortunately still no joy. The error message I get is that an unexpected error occurs whilst moving files to the final destination
