Sky Go won’t connect to some sky q boxes
Hi all. I have a bit of an odd situation.
i have sky q with 2 mini boxes.
my main sky q box is hard wired to a TP Link deco mesh node, and my 2 mini boxes are hard wired to other nodes around the house. With my sky Wi-Fi all turned off.
teh reason i use the TP link deco mesh system is to get a good Wi-Fi signal in a summer house at the end of the garden, where one of the mini boxes is located. And this is where it gets odd.
If I'm in the summer house and open the sky go app then I can connect to any of the sky q boxes in the house, watch recordings from the sky q boxes etc.
if I'm in the living room, or anywhere else, I get a message to say that sky go can't find any sky q boxes on the network. Even though it's the same Wi-Fi network.
anyone got an idea of what might be the issue and how the fix it. Thanks in advance

Re: Sky Go won’t connect to some sky q boxes
I'd suggest looking at the Deco configuration to see if it's enforcing wireless device isolation.

Note that only a main Q box has any Recordings on it: Mini boxes don't have storage.
