Sky Go stopped working on Windows 11 Lenovo laptop

Hello all,

My Sky go app has stopped working on my Windows 11 laptop. It had been working on both Windows 11 and 10. The laptop is a fairly decent spec, Ryzen 5, 12Gb RAM.

I started the app and it came up with a message saying the software was corrupt or words to that effect and I had to reinstall the app. Once the app was reinstalled it just comes up with a black/blank window and hangs, no error messages.

I have reinstalled Windows 10, didn't work same symptoms. I've went back to Windows 11, same result.

I've looked online for solutions, i.e. disabling Cisco Videoguard but this does not appear in the control panel as a running process.

Any help gratefully received.

Exactly the same has happened to me. If I try to install older versions, it tries to up date then say 'corrupted'. Newest version just hangs on blue screen with white arrow. Happend yesterday!

Sorry you're having these issues. Another customer mentioned they unistalled Citrix Workspace and it worked for them. If you have that installed, please try unistalling it and let me know what happens.

I'm pretty sure you need to look at the update.

I was assisted by a Sky Expert to resolve the problem. I had to clear my cache and cookies on google Chrome and delete the Sky folder after uninstallation. This fixed the problem.
