The Go-Option key-delete worked for me. Thank you.

Having the same exact problem. New MacPro and I cant get the installer to complete it just fades away and no errors are recorded. So come on Sky we are counting on you to stay ahead!

Hey @jrb123 I literally just found a workaround. I guess its the software tester in me😎 See what you do and hopefully it works for you too. Download the sky sports app directly from the site https://www.skysports.com/videoplayer/instructions.
During the installation it will ask if you want to install Rosetta and once confirmed install the app. Then all you have to do is click on the skygoinstaller you downloaded and hopefully Bob will be your uncle and Sky Go will be installed like it happened for me😁

Installed Sky Sports app but it never tried to either install Rosetta or Sky Go. I thought that Rosetta would not run on OS 15 Sequoia. Sky Sports app seems very low resolution.

@Dickytricky56 Excuse me, If I use the option of opening it with Rosetta, it means that the operating system will change for the whole macbook? Because I currently have Sequoia and I am not sure about returning to an older OS... but if I can only open the installer with Rosetta and then have Sequoia on the macbook I would try to do it.
Thank you

My understanding and experience is that using Rosetta will only affect that one installation.
I'm no expert but it only affected the Sky Go app.
**bleep** that helps.

@Dickytricky56 thank you so very much, I'll try!

That's strange! As soon as I ran the installation Rosetta was called into the equation for me. When you finished the Skysports app install did it redirect you to the browser?

I'm sorry - it was a few weeks ago - I can't remember - I can only refer you to my original post but it was smooth and it worked.

I am also still having issues, have tried all of these fixes. This is honestly insane that a company this big is this inept at building a streaming app. They have the market cornered and are showing complete contempt for their customers. The mac app hasn't worked properly for 6 months, I'm thinking about reporting them to consumer protection for failure to deliver their service.
Can't wait for them to 'reach out to me in DMs' about this

I too have a Macbook pro with Sequoia just delivered, everything works other than Sky go!!! how frustrating is this...come on Sky sort this out as previously stated by @jrb123 in November.

I have been through this endlessly. a new IMAC M4 on Sequoia 15.2. not been able to run it from the start. able to download but when it runs get the 001 error

Thank you. This worked for me on a brand new iMac yet I'd had no problems running it on my 11 year old iMac, which I've just replaced, even though SKY say they no longer support it on this version.

this is brilliant! Thank you. I have been knocking my head on the wall cause the Sky on demand does not work on the new SkyQ box it its a a gamble if it will download completely or give you the cursed "failed no subscription" error message. I nearly cried when it woud not work on the macbook as well this work around works with Sequoia 15.1.1. If only I could watch Dune Prophecy on the massive TV screen but I will take what I can get right now. Happy New Year !
