Sky Go on ps5 prompting to purchase sky go extra.

I'm getting a message on my sky go on the ps5 PlayStation asking to purchase sky go extra to watch on PlayStation. 

the message is:

 

To watch this programme you will need to purchase the Sky Go Extra package. 

I recently changed my subscription to reduce costs and I suspect that this may be the reason I am now getting the message. 

can you please advise me what I need to do to discuss with support

I've re-added sky go extra on my account after contacting sky support and it is now working again. Thank you.

You will need to call Sky to ask them if Sky Go Extra is on your account and if it isn't if they could find the best way to get it added back for you. Without services like multiscreen in your account you could be looking at a cost of £5 per month for it.

If you removed multiroom/multiscreen/whole home then that would stop 'TV from Sky' working.

I recently contacted sky because my PlayStation 5 wouldn't connect to online gaming. I could still browse the internet and watch Netflix etc. . Sky's reply to me was "you need to pay for sky go extra to be able to play online games. This is untrue.

Anyway it resolved itself. 
I just wanted people to be aware that it seems sky is trying to make me or other people upgrade when there is no need.

They are correct in what they say that Sky Go Extra is required but if you have the likes of Multiscreen on your account then you do not need to pay for it as it is free via this and can also be free via Sky VIP.

No, they are incorrect. Playing online games on a ps5 has nothing to do with sky go or sky multi screen. I pay PlayStation plus for the privilege of playing online games. Sky seems to think I should pay them as well. I have the emails as evidence.
