Sky Go opens and show the TV shdedule, etc.
There is a long delay between the mouse click/screen touch and the application responding. So you end up clicking/screen touching several times and the app eventially catcheds up with lot of flickering!
Once you have a programme open, 1 of 2 things happen:
The programme plays darkly in the background with the white loading circle constantly running in the foreground. Or
The window opens and the programme plays fine. But when you try to play full screen the programme goes to full screen but the bar and full screen arrows and the top right close X remain where they were before going to full screen!
I have done the following:
Checked for window and driver updates
Cleared cache
Uninstalled Sky Go and went to 'C:\Users\[your user name]\AppData\Roaming (ensure hidden files/folders are visible) and delete the following folders:
Sky
Sky Go
And if it is present the Cisco and/or Synamedia folder in App\Data\LocalLow.
Empty your recycle bin.
Reboot your PC and then download and install the Sky Go app again.
Every other app on the Surface runs fine and I have Sky Go running fine on a Win11 laptop. So confused and welcome any help 🙂
