Sky Go on Apple TV 4K and Q Mini Boxes
Just wanted to confirm before spending any money...
If we use the Sky Go app through an Apple TV 4K (4th Gen) box, it does not count towards the Mini Box concurrent viewing limit?
Sky Q allows you to watch a main box plus up to TWO Mini Boxes all at the same time (meaning three concurrent viewing sessions).
As we want to add Sky to another room, and have heard this is a way of getting around it.
In other words, if we use Sky Go via an Apple TV box in one room, we will still be able to watch Sky in three other rooms at the same time?
Thanks.

At a guess I would say that it doesn't.

Re: Sky Go on Apple TV 4K and Q Mini Boxes
Whilst it doesn't count as a minibox, bear in mind:
- not all channels are included [some missing like the BBC can be watched on other apps e.g. via the iPlayer] - it is largely many free to air channels not part of a Sky package missing;
- recordings on the Q box can't be watched; and
- [subjective I guess] picture quality is not as good
Those may not be an issue for you.
