Sky Go not seeing WiFi on my Ipad

When I start sky go app all seems normal but as soon as I select a programme to watch I get the buffering circling dot on the screen and then eventually the message that I need a valid internet connection for sky go to work. I can use sky go on my phone in the same room no problem and I can use safari and various other items in the pad as well hence proving a valid internet connection . I have deleted the app and reloaded and also shut down the WiFi on the pad and restarted to no effect. Can anyone suggest what the problem is please .

Have you tried a reboot of your broadband hub ?

Hi , thanks for the suggestion , Just tried rebooting hub . Hasn’t made any difference but interestingly when I opened the app it said home was not available but this was because the iPad had not reconnected to the WiFi . As soon as I went in to setting and reconnected WiFi the hOme page appeared thereby recognising the internet connection!
