Sky Go no longer works on MacBook Pro (intel-Big Sur)

Sky Go was working fine until yesterday. Now it downloads an update, (sometimes several times) then quits.  After that, the app refuses to open. What's happened?

Same issue with me on macOS Monterey  Version 12.7.5.. Yesterday 12/6/2024 , the Sky Go App update caused an endless loop of update, installing, then downloading new update. If you force quit the installer, the sky go app fails to launch. Deleting everything and retrying from scratch does not fix the problem. SKY please urgently fix the problem.

Same issue here. I'm really getting **bleep** off with the incompetent programmers at Sky - they push an update which then doesn't work. I've tried deleting everything including all Sky Go folders in Library etc but no joy.

May the fleas of a thousand camels infest the **bleep** of the incompetent programmer who is responsible for this.....  Macbook M1 Sonoma 14.5

Pushing an update with a bug isnt the issue, it happens. For me it's the total lack of response and not pushing another update to fix it ASAP, there hasnt been any response to the scores of people reporting the issue here.
