Player won't retain position of a partly watched programme. Worse still, you can't manually advance playback to where you want to watch it from. Even Channel 4 or ITV X players allow you to experience these basic functions (albeit after having to watch adverts first, which you expect) Even the first most basic streaming players available a decade ago allow this basic functionality. Why is it like this? Is this the same experience for everyone?
