Sky Go downloads but does not install on my MacBook Air

I am running MacOS Monterey 12.6.1.  I have tried mu;tiple times to doen load and install the mac version of the Sky Go application.  The package downloads and when I double click it seems to down load but then when it comes to install nothing happens.  I have looked at the various forum threeads and cannot find anything that addresses my problem.  That said, I have tried most of the suggested solutions, but nothing works.

I upgraded Mac OS Mojave to the latest version and re-downloaded Sky Go. This time the install worked and I was able to use the App.

I meant Monterey not Mojave.
