For the last few months I have been unable to use Sky Go on my laptop. After downloading the app from the Sky website, I click on the app to install and after going through the install it says it is unable to load and to report to MAC. I have removed the app and retired several times, also removing all traces of sky to no avail. From searching this seems to have been a problem for many users and resolved for some but not those on older macs. I cannot update the os as my Adobe apps will stop working! I now need this as I will be travelling, does anyone have a solution please? PS Rosetta does not work on older macs.

Re: Sky Go does not load on MacBook High Sierra 10.13.6
@caesarome thank you I didn't know this. Very annoying as I can't afford a new laptop! Do you know if you can connect an ipad via cable to a TV? I have tired but it won't play anything.

As you have discovered @Julie+Ann+44 that will not work as it is blocked de to rights issues. You can connect up a laptop though.

Re: Sky Go does not load on MacBook High Sierra 10.13.6
High Sierra is now more than seven years old (released autumn 2017) and has been out of support from Apple since 2020: it's not ideal to still be in use.

Re: Sky Go does not load on MacBook High Sierra 10.13.6
@TimmyBGood Thanks for that, however the laptop is fully functioning (except SkyGo) with the current OS and if I do upgrade I will lose all my Adobe Apps. Adobe changed their model to a 'pay per month' offering some time back and I don't want to be held hostage by them to keep paying. I have perfectly good 16bit apps that work for what I need.
