An update, the latest Sky Go update did not work 😞 Same issue.

I see that the chat has been closed again without notification. Not only am I trying to work 16-hour days, but I also have an elderly parent who is barely conscious in the hospital, so keeping an eye on the out-of-band chat messages is impossible. Please don't say call, as we have proven beyond doubt that this will not be resolved over a call.

I thought I would post an update on this topic (spoiler - it's still screwed). It's been almost a year to the day since this post was opened (but, if truth be told, the issue has perpetuated much longer).
I decided that it was time that this laptop got a refresh, so I reset the machine, which effectively reinstalled Windows. The first app I re-installed was Sky Go, and it still failed with the same error!!!
I ask once more - where are the logs?

Well done Sky - apparently, they needed to tell me a bit more that I had a a different kind of error, no longer 001, but rather 1a

I forget how terrible Sky Go is. I have managed to do without it for so long, but like a fool, I though I would re-install and start again.
Still, I get the same error as above!!!!!

That is awful customer service, it will just lead to another chat bot which will direct you to the same advice, going round in circles with this, its clearly a common error, my feeling is they are trying to get rid of sky go
