Sky Go connecting to someone elses Sky q box??

I'm away at a friend's at the moment,  and when I've connected to their WiFi network and logged into my sky Go app, I'm able to see their recordings on their skyq box.

How is this possible?

The recordings are on the local Sky box hard drive and your Go device is on the same network, so that's behaviour as designed.  The box itself has no method for user authentication: it assumes any local Go installation is authorised.

Sky Glass 55" (on ethernet) & two Stream Pucks (one ethernet / one WiFi)

Well you learn something new... thanks for the reply.

I'm assuming what you can actually watch channel wise is still governed by your subscription package and not the person who's house you're in?
