Sky Go & Sky Stream

Just got stream (Nov 5) and overall happy with it, however when I access Sky Go on my iPad (I used to have Q) or Chromebook I have the following issues

1) There are no BBC channels, channels start at 103

2) When I try to watch a kids program it tells me to upgrade my subscription even though I have the Kids package on my Stream.

and don't get me started on the channels having different numbers...

Re: Sky Go & Sky Stream

Thanks to the team for their help the issue is now fixed. It seemed that there was a ghost account linked to mine possibly relating to when  I had Sky Q.

The team removed Kids as it was showing a pending. I was then able to add in back and it worked instantly on both Sky Stream & Sky Go.

That is correct, the BBC channels can only be viewed when the Sky Go app is connected to a Sky Q box so for those like yourself will be unable to view them as the BBC will not allow Sky to add them to the app.

To see if they can help I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who will be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to 24 hours to be contacted via this.

This link explains how this works:

When the chat bubble does appear you have 48 hours to respond or it will be automatically closed. This isn't a live chat so replies are not instant.

That's a BBC decision to drive up iPlayer user numbers: Sky can only populate channels into Go with the permission of the channel owner.
