Re: Sky Go Wont Start up on Windows 11 PC

I've finally got Sky Go to work after suffering along with everyone else. This solution is only relevant  for Dell PCs.

My chain of events is:

1. Bought new Dell ProMax T2 with Windows 11 Pro

2. Installed Sky Go and it worked fine.

3. Had a firmware update.

4. Sky Go stopped working. Would get blue trinagle, then nothing for a while until a "Failure To Connect" message.

5. Tried EVERYTHING with same outcome. Sky Go was working fine on my old Windows 10 laptop.

6. Last night (August 17th 2025) noticed a brief popup saying "Dell Command Update" or something similar.

7 Typed Dell Command in search bar and was taken to Dell Command | Update screen..

8. Did the updates that were availlable there.

9. Sky Go works and I'm a happy chappie.

Re: Sky Go Wont Start up on Windows 11 PC

My last laptop Surface Pro 6 had both citrix workspace and sky go app running with no issues.  Still does today.

My ne laptop Surface Pro 11 Sky Go doesn't work at all with or without citrix workspace.  The app is a joke.

Re: Sky Go Wont Start up on Windows 11 PC

Its a shame that Sky wont "own" this problem.   It seems more of us are finding answers but there are many of them.   Everyone has to try multiple options and in lots of cases we never really understand the real problem we are too busy celebrating that "somehow" it works.

After multiple complaints, many months and replicable problems surely someone at sky has a clue ??
