In need of help for my first post as Sky helpdesk werent able to help.
I have Sky Q with multi room subscription and when I log on to Sky Go on my laptop there is no recordings option in the menu so I am unable to see my recordings and connect to my Sky Q box.
I am able to use Sky Go to watch live TV but nothing else. I have had the laptop next to main box and have reactivated the sky go on the main box and I have tried to reinstall sky go to an older version but the first thing it does it upgrade to the latest version of the app. I have also turned off and back on the setting in sky go to connect to sky q.
I am using app version 24.1.3-2
When i contacted sky they said it must be an issue with my laptop but couldnt give me any further help. My laptop is connected to same network as my Sky boxes and they can see the internet so am at a loss how to get access to my recordings using sky go.
Any help is appreciated.

Yes have rebooted everything multiple times but still no joy.

Is that a network generated by an ISP router, an non-ISP router or a mesh system?
Some hardware will have wireless client isolation switched on by default, which can cause this issue.

Its an ISP router and is actually Sky that provide our router and internet.

OK, that doesn't do isolation.
Does the laptop have any VPN functionality?

It does have VPN capability but there is no VPN installed on the laptop.

@MartynC10 hi I have the same problem. I've used sky go for a couple of years on my kindle fire 10 with no problems but in the last few months I cannot access my recordings saying it cannot find my q box. I've switched box & kindle off then turned on again no joy. I then uninstalled the sky go app & then reinstalled & now I don't have the recording option at all, it has disappeared. All other options are there, so now I can't retrieve my recordings ordings. Very annoying
