Hi Community/Sky,
After getting absolutely nowhere with phone support a few weeks ago, I'm hoping for a better result here.
Short story - we stayed with friends and logged into Sky Go with the app on an Apple TV a few weeks ago. It worked well, but we left forgetting to log out.
During a conversation with them, we got the impression it was being used - we checked our device list, changed our username/password then removed it. No matter what happens, it STILL pops up and certainly isn't prompting them to log in again.
Our second idea was to fill all six slots with devices, but now it seems Sky automatically remove the oldest and add the "new" device automatically.
I'm guessing Sky Go drops a token on the device which never seems to expire or get checked - so how on earth can we get this device blocked/removed? We've done all we can...

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreTry changing your password again:
https://skyid.sky.com/resetpassword/
Then go to this link:
https://skyid.sky.com/authorise/manage
If you tick "Sky Apps" and then the remove button, then anyone using SkyGo or SkyNews or SkySports apps etc. using your credentials will have the previous auth token removed and will be forced to sign in again (using the new password only you know). Will mean people you want to use your ID will need to do the same, but will force whoever is using your previous details off!

First thing tried. It does not work. Either resetting password and removing or otherwise.
The token on the device seems persistent and will pop up as a device again.

It's been three months and multiple changes and removals. Hence here in exhaustion.
