Is it possible to use my skygo app on my MacBook onto a tv using an HDMI cable (eg when on holiday)??

I believe that should work for an OSX laptop as it does for a Windows unit. If you have such a television set at home, you could try it now.

I wanted a definite droplet really because I wanted to show it on my TV in our holiday home in Greece using a VPN to fool Sky with a UK IP address - as we do currently with our IPads. I do get miffed because we pay a huge amount to Sky monthly and spend 5 months in our holiday home in Greece but meet these issues. Up until Brexit we could watch SkyGo on our Play Station. Now we cannot as do not have a route from BB (have a receiver) or a way to load a VPN on the PS. All possible if Android but we have Apple products.

Announcing you are using a VPN to circumvent the T&Cs is not a good idea on Sky's official forums 😞

The UK chose to reject EU interference in its affairs: that includes the Directive on the cross-border portability of online content services
