SKY GO app won't connect on new MacBook Air

Recently bought a new Macbook Air and migrated all my data from old Macbook pro. Tried to open Sky go and it won't connect. Downlaods but then get error message 001 saying having trouble connecting. I have tried all the steps fround in other discussions like un-installing and clearing all caches but still not having any joy in being able to open the app. This is getting really frustrating now  as i can't watch anything on my macbook like i was able to previously.

I am having the same issue, have you been able to sort it. I have redownloaded the application numerus times and followed all advice and it still won't work
