No sky in hospital even with mini ox

I cannot get  Sky go to work in hospital works fine at home worked fine when we had a caravan but not in Stoke hospital on their wifi tv guide starts at itv bbc programmes gone from guide

Also note that institutions can choose to block streaming services if they wish: typically such places have internet filtering in place.

 

As indicated above, the BBC chooses not to distribute their channels into Sky Go when the app device is not in proximity to a Sky box connected to a satellite dish: this is to increase iPlayer use in order to justify the considerable amount of Licence Fee funding which goes into it.

The BBC programs will only show when you are at home and connected to your Sky Q box because the BBC themselves do not allow Sky to show them via the Sky Go app.

Use BBC iPlayer and ITVX you don't have to use Sky Go!!

Stoke hospital don't allow Sky

My son is in Stoke Hospital with a brain tumour we connected to the hospital wifi which did not allow receipt of Sky, F1 is his passion.

We overcame this by making mobile a hot-spot and connecting tablet to that. Thank you to those who helped
