My Son cannot access Sky Go on Apple TV 4K

I bought my son an Apple TV 4K box for his birthday with the understanding that once setup he can install Sky Go and access sky content. He has setup his own account and i have invited him as a family member which he has accepted and all ok. He can access Sky Go on his android phone and online through the browser. However, he cannot access it through Apple TV and constantly gets an error message that he needs to verify his email.

Things to note - 

His email has been verified

He lives in the same house

We have multi room subscription

I can log in via is Apple TV using my login details and it works fine

He can access it through other devices on his login.

We have deleted and reinstalled Sky Go numerous times.

We have been in touch with sky, the sky guys seems to thinks it's an issue with the security question. However, we have changeds that a few times.

Has anyone experienced anything like this before?

Thanks for the reply, i did come accross this post before and tried it. Unfortunatly, even after trying it again tonight it is still the same error. Annoyingly, it provided a QR code to validate the email but when it goes to the link https://skyidapp.sky.com/servicesignup/service/skygo
it just display this 

{"class":["success"],"properties":{"eventType":"success"}}

or diffirent varations of it.  It's not the end of the world becuse he can use it using my login, but it's a nightmare when we both having different tastes in programmes and messes up our lists etc. However, there are worst things happening in the world right now so on reflection, i should be grateful for what i do have.
