Max number of viewers message when I try to watch

When i tried to watch on my laptop today it came up with a message that I had reached the maximum number of viewers which I haven't.  So I couldn't watch. they gave a code PFE 8006.  I have spent ages using the virtual assistant, regregistered my Lap top etc and it doesn't work.  Help!!

To get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to a few hours to be contacted via this.


This link explains how this works so you will need to respond to the chat bubble at the bottom of the page when it appears by typing it it to start the chat:

When the chat bubble does appear you will need to respond to it as soon as you can or it will be closed if there is no response within 48 hours. To start the conversation just type in it.
This isn't a live chat so replies may not be instant.

I only downloaded Sky Go yesterday to watch the cricket because I I have no reception on Sky Q channels because of neighbour's trees. Just came to load it and I received the same message "You have reached the maximum number of people in your household who can watch content online at the same time Code PFE 8006-IH".  How come when I live on my own!!!!!

Could someone escalate this for me as you did for the previous poster.

I wish you luck. Nobody came to my help and the chat bot was useless. I ended up finding an 0333 number in order to talk to a real person who 5hen tweaked something at their end and it now works ok. It cost me about £3 for the premium line and the loss of 2 days viewing the cricket on my laptop. You can find the number via Google. If you can't then get back to me.

The escalation process is offline for 2-3 weeks so if you do not want to call then Sky can be contacted via social media:

I've just uninstalled Sky Go and reinstalled it again with a new installer and so far so good. Just in time to watch England hopefully winning,
