I don't know how to download a programme onto my iPad to view away from home

How do I download a programme onto my iPad.  When I click on the download option in Sky nothing happens.

I just want to be able to view programmes in Catch Up but some say you have to download to the HD or SD version onto your Sky box.  I want to be able to view the programme on my iPad when I'm away from home

I believe you can only do that when your iPad is connected to a Wifi connection so you need to download these programs before you leave your home.

I have tried it using my home Wifi but I still only get the two options to download to my Skybox (HD or SD), no option to download to my local machine.

Is this on everything or just this one program and what is the program. You do need Sky Go Extra on your account to download anything to the app itself.

No it's quite a few.  eg  I tried to download Death in Paradise Series 10 Episode 5 and 6.  Episode 4 I could watch on my iPad without downloading.  Episode 5 owards told me to download onto my Sky box
