I can’t download to my iPad. I keep getting a ‘something went wrong error message 4090’
I am trying to download a movie to my iPad but I keep getting an error message

The error message is: Sorry, Something went wrong. An error occurred. Check your internet connection and try again later. Error code 4090
Sky internet is fully connected, I have also tried to download movies to my iphone when disconnected to the internet using data and I get the same message.
All software updates have been completed and I've deleted the app and downloaded it again, still the same error message.

Make sure your Sky account is linked to your Sky ID, to do this see if you can access this link to view your online Sky bills:
https://www.sky.com/manage/bill/
You might then be asked to link it to your ID and you will need your Sky account number or your viewing card number to do this.

I have the same message and have done all the same steps - including checking my SkyID is linked. I also have a different message when trying to download something else: Because of a technical issue, you cannot watch this channel. Please try again later.
