How to watch football on Sky Go on a laptop when the programme is via the red button.

Simple Question: Is it possible to watch Championship football matches on Sky Go when the match is broadcast via the red button?  If so, how do you go about it?

Unfortunately sky go won't show the extra midweek league matches but what I have  done in the past on my laptop is to download the sky sports app where it shows you all the games as it would on the red button in midweek.

I should have mentioned that I am a Virgin Media customer with Sky Sports and other services included.  I have not been able to access these addition football matches on my TV set. Is this because I am a Virgin customer or am I not doing something correctly?

It sounds like virgin are a 3rd Partie carrier of sky services so you may not get the full service. I may be wrong though
