How do I watch a film on Sky Go App

Apparently it is as easy as 1,2,3

1)  Download Sky Go App

OK

2) Sign in

OK

3) Start watching your favourite show.

But How ?

I can find no way to watch anything on the Sky Go App.

I can manage all aspects of my sky account, but I cannot find any way to watch anything.

Can someone please explain how to do step 3.

Are you sure you're looking at the Sky Go app and not the My Sky app?

My Sky has account management (alongside competition entry and giveaways) but is not a viewing platform.

Sky Go would show you an on-demand interface and a TV Guide.

Yes,

It turns out that when you download the Sky Go App, it also seems to download the MySky App, and that is the one that it runs when you click on the Run button in the App Store.

I have now found the correct app, but finding it pretty much unuseable as everything that I click on needs an upgrade.

There seems to be no way to restrict the searches to only things that I can watch without an upgrade.

Similar issiues on the  Sky Q Box,  greedy marketing making the device unuseable.

You shouldn't be asked to upgrade if you are a Sky Movies customer so is this is what is happening and if so are you signed in with the correct Sky ID ?

 If you have a baseline Sky bundle, particularly without the HD add-on, then yes, there's going to be a whole lot of content listed in Go that you won't have access to, just as is the case on Q.
