Sport channels not working on Sky Go but have subscription

Hi, I have a Sky Sports subscription but the channels not working on Sky Go. It says I need to upgrade my subscription to watch. 

Any help will be appreciated

Sky GO - There was a problem streaming this channel

On the 15th January, I renewed my contract and added Sky Sports complete including Sky Sports plus. 23 years I have been with Sky, a 'diamond' customer. The only package I do not currently have is UHD. I have Signature, Cinema, Sport I can't physically add anything else to my plan on the Sky website bar UHD.  I can stream the relevant non UHD channels on my Sky Q box, but on Sky GO I am unable to access them as it tells me there was a problem streaming this channel, or an error 1410. I have missed one weekends worth of Premier League football, so far. The sole reason I added Sky Sports back to my contract was for my family to be able to watch the Premier League matches that are actually available through Sky. If I am unable to watch the sport I subscribed for, what am I doing renewing. 

 

I have reinstalled apps, redownloaded programs, tried multiple IDs linked to Sky ID and nothing works.

 

Others are having this issue, we've followed the steps and I have yet to receive a formal acknowledgement of the issue.

Has anyone managed to rectify this?? I have Sky Stream with a Puck in my house. I've subscribed to Sky Ultimate TV and Sky Sport. All channels work fine on my Puck but when I try to watch on my tablet or phone I'm getting the "need to upgrade" message everyone else is getting. I've been emailing the app email address but nothing they suggest has worked...

I have moved your post onto an existing post in the SKY Go group discussing ongoing problems with the SKY go app.

 

As you will see it is affecting quite a few customers.

 

Hopefully when there is any news, this will get an update

I've been with Sky for about 35 years 

This Sky Go issue is a recent one and only when I try to watch Sky Sports.

I upgraded to Sky Sports 5 days ago so should be good to go by now.

Everything else on the app works fine.

Sky need to sort this out

Re: error code 1410 using sky go

I upgraded my sky tv package last week to include movies/sports channels.  When I now log into Sky Go on my phone/laptop I can view freeview channels but NOT sports/movies.  I get the 1410 error code on my laptop and on my phone it reads "to watch this content please upgrade your subscription.....etc". 

 

If I go into the MySky app and click on the TV tab I get a message saying

"Error loading page, Domain: NSURELErrorDomain, Error code: -1200

Description: An SSL error has occured and a secure connection to the server cannot be made.

 

I have spoken to various depts within Sky and they told me to post on here to hopefully obtain someone with a more technical knowledge. 

 

To conclude I CAN view all the sports/movies on my Sky Q box these errors only relate to SkyGo.

Error message upgrade required to view content

I have subscribed to Sky Ultimate and Sports package. But cannot get any sports channels on sky go app. It keeps telling me to upgrade. My account number is correct in My Sky app. I note that there was another thread about this issue. When will it be fixed? Or I'll cancel Sky during my cooling off period

Another day and it still isn't working.

And no word from Sky about a fix.

Hi, just to let you all know i'm having the exact same issues. Just been on the phone to a tech advisor and they don't have a clue whats happening. Bloody sky eh.

Sky Go

My sky go has an error message saying "to watch this content please upgrade your subscription" however I subscribe to that channel and works on my sky q through my tv but my sky go has stopped working. Can anyone help?
