THis is happening to me too. I was on the phone every day for 5 days last week. Finally spoke to someone in the SkyGo Department - and there is a known issue they are working on. I was told they needed 48 hours, but that was Thursday, and its STILL not working. I only really use Sky Go as Im out and about all the time. So Im considering cancelling - after 19 years.

its not working when i select a sky sports channel or a normal entertainment channel" it says i need to upgrade my presciption. which i dont as i have these in my contract. what is going on.

By not working I mean that I can log into sky go and watch some content like highlights of football.

What I cannot do is watch any live channel in my subscription. 

When I click on channel message ' upgrade your subscription ' appears

Have the same problem. 

Have done most of the same steps you did.

Called sky and stream department were stuck aswell. They have passed it on to business dept and he said if it is common problem they should be able to fix it and to just keep trying app for next 24 hours. 

Not holding out much hope but seems pretty shoddy way to start a relationship with a new customer. May reconsider staying with sky as still in cool off period

Phoned sky and they said its been passed onto business dept 

Dont hold out much hope but if this is how their software works from day 1 then I my reconsider staying as still gave cooling off period.

Same issue as everyone here. In my case I added sports package. Fine on q box but error 1410 in sky go. My old packages like cinema still works so wow appear to be failure in sky go picking up subscription changes. I've phoned the help line several times and done all the standard fixes they would suggest. Nice people but no more insight into the problem than the customers. Hopefully as it appears to be widespread so.ebody at sky with tge necessary expertise will get to the bottom of it. Help line must be getting fed up with the calls.

Sky Go with Sky Stream

Hi,

 

New to sky today and have ordered sky stream - looking forward to it bveing delivered. I got a package that includes sky sports and it said when I ordertedf this morning I'd have access to sky go immediately. I have installed the app, signed in but when I click on a sky sports option in the tv guide on the sky go app it tells me "to enjoy this service, please upgrade your account" I've left it a few hours and it's still doing the same - is there something specific I need to do to activate or could this be a bug that I need to speak to Sky about?

Been saying "To enjoy this service please upgrade your subscription* all day.

 

Paying £112 a month for this for two years.

Same issue Sky Go not working with Stream Essentials. Getting the upgrade message on all my channels except for Sky News. Had 30 mins on phone this morning without it being solved. Getting a call back tomorrow. Not confident of a fix based on the other comments here.

They said I would get call back aswell.

Never came back to me.

Poor customer service.

Don't think anyone at these call centres knows how to fix problem as I got passed from department to department. 

Let me know if they get back to you.

Yeah Sky news is the only channel that works.

I spent 50 minutes on the phone this evening, but still didn't get anywhere.

Will probably ring them back again tomorrow.

Get sick of sky now and I've only been with them since Wednesday.
