Don't understand why usb-c to hdmi is blocked on mobile

What's the actual reason, that makes no common sense, that I can't output sky go from my phone to my tv in the caravan by usb-c to hdmi but I could from a laptop or console (that i don't have at our caravan)?

If it's rights, which it can't be, then why allow it from a laptop or console but not the cable from a phone?

Makes no sense and is incredibly irritating... can Sky not just allow it by cable at least from an Android phone? Would an old Windows phone be any different?!

Mobile devices that have their own screen have to use saud screen, Laptop/PCs onect to monitors via HDMI so are hard to restrict and games consoles need extra subscriptions to be used

@Lisasol

One suspicion is that Sky would have liked to block computers too, but as @Annie+UK indicates that's essentially not possible in either Windows or OSX / macOS

It is however easily achievable on Android and iOS.

There's no current Go client for Windows Mobile, which is hardly surprising given that operating system ceased development in 2017.
