Hi.
I have sky q and have had it for many years basically on the full package of everything.
However on the sky go app, I can watch sky news, but if I try and play anything from sky cinema, sports, a box set etc I get the following message:
"To enjoy this service, please upgrade your subscription. "
When at home using sky go, I can watch recordings on the sky q box of say things from UK Gold for example but I can't even watch any recordings from sky movies for which I get the following:
"You cannot watch this programme on your sky go app. Please check if your subscription allows you to watch on the sky go app"
I don't understand why my subscription is not working here as I'm on the full package for everything, paying £96 a month for the privilege.
basically only watch what I've got recorded on the sky q box, and basically nothing else. The only live content that's worked seems to be sky news.
Thanks for any advice
Paul

All resolved now.
I was trying sky go on my mobile, so I decided to give it a go on my PC, so downloaded the app. just to see if it was a problem with my device or at the Sky end
I got a similar error with the PC app first try, but I then have a different error message telling me to restart my skyq box to register the PC which I did.
After this all content worked on my PC
BUT mobile was still an issue, even after reinstalling the app on my mobile (android)
I looked at my devices on mysky which only showed my PC, and no mobile device.
I explained this to the helpful sky assistant on this chat, who then suggested to sign-out on the mobile app.
I did this, and tried some content on sky go, and this worked, and also my device is now registered in My Sky.
So thank you @caesarome and the sky assistant who helped sort this problem

I have one multiscreen, no SKY Cinema, just the basic package + the SKY Sprts channel and I am paying over £95 a month. How did you get 2 multiscreens, SKY cinema etc. for £95 a month. Is it because I have been with SKY for over 15 years? LOl.

Mine was around £95 about 2 years ago but I had an email off sky saying that they were knocking off about £20. Can't remember too much about the email to be honest. I dont think I had to click on anything to accept the offer, it just happened.
Since then its steadily gone up and up, and now its around £95 again.
