I have had Sky essentials for just over a year now. At first I could watch live tv on sky go (the freeview channels, as it's a basic package) but since November I can't watch anything on sky go and instead I get a message saying "Something went wrong. Please upgrade your subscription". I have called sky a couple of times and they tried to help but so far nothing has worked. I'm not sure if this is of interest but when I go on my sky q settings and the.n status, 'watch via sky go' is not ticked and it doesn't change even when I hit reactivate. Any ideas? I have of course tried logging out and in again and deleting the app and downloading it again.

Find out moreTo get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to a few hours to be contacted via this.

When the chat bubble does appear you have 48 hours to respond or it will be automatically closed. This isn't a live chat so replies are not instant.
