Can’t get Sky Go to come up on my TV using Apple TV

I have a Sky+HD subscription in Ireland where I live. When in France for work I can watch Sky Go on my iPad but can't get it to screen mirror to my TV (using an old Apple TV box to a Samsung TV) I get the message  Screen recording is not supported on this app- please disable this to continue watching.

but I'm not recording anything! Can anyone help?

What you are trying to do is not possible as it is blocked due to rights restrictions. You can connect something like a laptop directly to a TV if you have one as this will work but streaming from mobile devices is not possible.

Thanks I thought because I was a Sky Ireland customer it was possible in the EU.

The only difference between Sky Ireland and the rest of the UK is that you can stream in Europe as the.rest of the UK can not due to Brexit,
