Can't download sky Go on tablet

Had message to update sky go, didn't work, so uninstalled app, tried to reinstall, nothing happens

You haven't really given us much to go on so what is happening when you try to load up the Sky Go app ?

I am simply trying to download sky go from google play store on an old Samsung tablet. Sky Go was working fine til sky told me to update it to a newer version. update didn't work - just kept going back to green update button on Play Store. So I uninstalled and tried to reinstall - says ' pending...' then back to green install button. So the fault could lie with my tablet but no problems with other apps

If your tablet is an d one then you might not be able to install it in there anymore in the same way I can't use Sky Go on my old iPad.

As you can see the minimum version of Android your tablet needs to be running is 5.1 so what is yours running:
