Any chance of fast forward/rewind/pause coming to Sky Go on computers?

It's certainly possible technically... so is there any chance those features will come to PC/Mac soon, for live programmes, or will Sky Go remain comparitively crippled? We're been used to these fuctions on Sky for a couple of decades, and personally I feel they're almost essential.

Also, what's the status on a native Apple silicon Mac app? Thanks guys! 🙂

Short of being a Time Lord, how does anyone fast forward live television?

Pause and rewind are hardware dependent because they require local storage, and that's not available on many Go client devices.

Sky Go is a streaming client, on my devices, you can pause and adjust the timeline so I'm confused as to why a PC client would not also allow this

When they've had it on pause for a while, or rewound, then yes, unsurprisingly.

Exactly. Many other streaming services can manage this feat on PC and Mac, so I don't unsderstand the issue. Not being able to pause what I'm watching in 2025 is absolutely bonkers.
