Posted by a Sky employeeAfternoon everyone!
I wanted to thank you for your persistence and support with this, using your feedback BBC Channels have been updated to HD on both Sky Go and the online TV guide.
If you are unable to see these please restart the Sky Go app/refresh the online TV guide and also ensure you have HD as part of your Sky package
Edit: Make sure you are logging in to a Sky Go account that is linked with your Sky TV account.
Thanks,

I have deleted &reinstalled the App on iPad & iPhone & I still don't have B1/2 in 101/2 it's still in 801/2. I don't have HD Sub but you don't need that to view BBC & ITV HD. So frustrating now

Yes that's why I commented but I can still record & watch BBC HD it's just not shown as 101 etc on the App but is on Skybox. So I don't understand why it's relevant to the discussion point. But anyway I'm assuming that my issue will not be solved so signing off. Thank you to everyone for their feedback.

So as Swainsy (I think) mentioned, you also need Multiscreen/Multiroom to access this. Do you have that?

Glad it's fixed but like you I had always assumed 103 etc. were the HD versions! I only realised they weren't when this issue arose. So I still have to scroll way down to get to the HD versions of the non bbc channels I want to record.
So ever since the Sky+ app disappeared I have only ever has SD versions of stuff I set to record from Sky Go. Not sure I even noticed so perhaps I should have gone to Specsavers......!
But yes it would be good if these were set to the HD versions as well.

Hello @GillWales. I believe @swainsy is planning to open a new thread regarding non BBC HD channels, since the title of this thread is only BBC related, which I believe is resolved.

Yes that's the thread!
I did just speak to someone (actually I spoke to four different people on one call) and it was very hard, almost impossible, to get them to understand the issue. Ultimately the last guy's advice was to delete and re-download the app, which I rejected as a solution because I just knew that wouldn't solve it. Anyway, he's looking into it and said he'll get back to me within. 48 hours.

Hello @swainsy - yes, this has been my experience also when talking (voice, not chat) to Sky Support. Stock response is not helpful and they don't seem to be able to understand the problem. Quite disappointing really.

@Swat+2 Sky Go lists BBC 1 and 2 at 101, 102 just now (19.35 29 Jan) on my iPhone BUT NOT on iPad. I'm at home with wifi all ok (yes I checked, all devices connected). Just sayin.... but they will drop out on one or the other or both. So it's not the App right? Anyone?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreOn your iPad make sure "record to Sky box" is listed and if it is go to the home screen on the app and then back into the TV Guide.

For the first time (during this discussion) I have now opened up SKY Go on my iPad (rather than iPhone).
Observations.
As has been mentioned in previous posts in this thread, the issue with BBC1 and BBC2 is resolved so this thread is concluded.
The below link relates to other channels.
