Re: All BBC channels no longer listed in Sky Go
I have checked this issue of not having bbc 1 and bbc2 on record to sky box. The bbc chanels have switched from sd to hd on 8th jan 2024 so the 2 bbc chanels that are on the sky go app that dont work will be deleted soon. If you go to 801 and 802 on the record to box you will find those 2 chanels and you can record like before. Presume in time they will move them to where the old ones are now. Bit of a faf but at least its a result for now.

Re: All BBC channels no longer listed in Sky Go
Not the answer. Let me state the problem again.
1. Sky box is ok all software up to date
2. iPhone BBC channels ok
3. iPad shows the channels but "can't be shown on this device" or similar words OR BBC channels ate not listed.
What's the problem?

Re: All BBC channels no longer listed in Sky Go
If you are trying to watch the BBC channels then you can only do this if your app is connected to a Sky Q box as the BBC will not let to be shown directly via the app,
This topic is (mostly) discussing the recent removal of the SD channels and how to find the HD channels in the app for remote recording.

Re: BBC Channels no longer listed on Sky Go or Sky TV Guide
I've contacted Sky and their technical and IT departments are working on a resolution of there being no BBC channels on Sky Go to remote record. Other channels OK just all BBC channels.

Re: All BBC channels no longer listed in Sky Go
I only looked at 101 and 102 my most popular channels I watch. I hadn't thought of scrolling down to the 800s!
Thank you for your post. Most informative.

Have you selected "Record to Sky box" at the top of the guide ?

Re: Why isn’t my Sky Go app showing BBC 1 and 2 in my programme list?
I also have this issue with Sky Go I went to record Gladiators on BBC1 it did not show record series link, on Sky Go it came up as record once and I signed out of the Sky Go app and signed back in with my username
and password so I could get record series link. I went back into the Sky go guide and BBC1 and 2 channels have disappeared.

Re: All BBC channels no longer listed in Sky Go
Going back to my original complaint: this also extends to channels 103 to 105 on Sky Go - they really should be the HD versions of ITV1, C4 and C5, but they are the SD versions. What has happened to BBC One and Two is just that the SD versions have stopped TXing, so channels 101 and 102 are blank.
I suspect this is all to do with the fact that broadcasters have to have channels 1 - 5 as the HD versions of BBC One to C5 on the TV EPG , whereas on Sky Go they don't have to do that, so...they don't!

801 and 802 are at the bottom. Keep scrolling down the list on the record to sky box tv list, they are in numerical order.honnestly they are there.

Try 801 and 802 for these two channels as that is where they currently are for me.
