As of today, all the BBC channels aren't showing any listings in Sky Go.
Does anyone have an idea of why they've suddenly disappeared and how to get them back?

Posted by a Sky employeeAfternoon everyone!
I wanted to thank you for your persistence and support with this, using your feedback BBC Channels have been updated to HD on both Sky Go and the online TV guide.
If you are unable to see these please restart the Sky Go app/refresh the online TV guide and also ensure you have HD as part of your Sky package
Edit: Make sure you are logging in to a Sky Go account that is linked with your Sky TV account.
Thanks,

It's now 8th January 2024 and BBC have switched off BBC SD and is HD only. I have a Sky Q HD box and I can receive BBC HD Channels, no problem there.
However, BBC Listings have disappeared from the Sky Go App. on my iPad (which I tend to use to send record instructions to the Sky Q Box and as an electronic "Radio Times.")
in addition, the Sky TV Guide on the internet no longer shows the BBC Channels;

Are Sky just late in making changes or is this a permanent omission?
Anyone got any answers?

They're not on Sky Go on Windows desktop either, I would presume it's temporary.

I haven't checked but have you looked to see if they appear in the 800 range ?

However, the planner link only appears to have BBC1/2 in SD (101/102) and is empty. Although, all HD channels appear at 951>969.
Might be worth dropping a mail to viewer relations?

Thanks for responding.
All the BBC channels have disappeared from Sky Go - the SD channels appear as per my screenshot with empty listings, but the HD channels in the 800 region don't appear at all.

@Essex+Customer to record the BBC channels the HD channels have always been on in the 800's so 801 and 802 for BBC1 and 2 and are still there for recording purposes
To watch on Sky Go it appears that they are not there at the moment unless your Sky Go connects to your Q box i'm sure this is probably a blip for now

@swainsy seeing the same probably just a blip you can still record the channels though as they are showing in the 800's ie BBC1 801

I can see the BBC channels when connected to the Sky Q box, but when I am not connected, I cannot set BBC recordings as the programmes don't show up, even under the record tab. I think this is a recent change. A message on the app stated to "call Sky for a free upgrade" but when I called the number provided, the person I spoke to said that message was for customers who still have the old Sky HD box. I'm not sure what the solution is?

This has probably come about as from today the BBC have closed down their SD channels and the app hasn't updated to refelct this. You are not the only person to report this today and elsewhere Sky have confirmed it is being looked into. For now you should find the HD channels on 802 and 802 onwards.

Tuesday 9th January. Whilst ITV (Ch 103) is listed, all the other ITV channels have disappeared off SkyGo. I just can't understand why the removal of SD channels has thrown Sky off putting in a fix. They've known about the big SD switch off for ages so why have they not done a thing about it? Makes you wonder where your monthly payment goes.
