I pay for Sky Q, with a 2TB box and two mini boxes in the two bedrooms. My package is basically all the premiums with sports and signature and cinema and HD and all that jazz. I travel a lot for work and my Sky Go is used quite a lot. I've noticed recently that when watching a movie on the lap top, I am getting adverts *during* a movie for the first time.
Honestly, for the amount I pay a month, I already resent the number of adverts Sky put into things like HBO content, which runs without ads in America. I feel like I pay the premium to avoid them as much as possible.
I spoke to Sky and they said that ads during the movie is something most have but as I'm a diamond customer and as I've been with them for 20 years, I shouldn't have them. They said there would be an ad skipping feature and in time they'll remove mid-content ads all together for me when they update my profile.
I find the whole thing pretty confusing. One guy (I swear, I've spoken to 14 people today) said I was probably part of a beta testing on tiered subscriptions.
How is Sky Go working for everyone else? And am I right in saying that Sky Go and Sky Go Extra are different only in how many devices you can use?
