I downloaded the update yesterday, and since then have been unable to use the app. I get the following message "CONNECTING YOUR APPLICATION initialisaion failed to complete in a timely manner" I have done the standard uninstall/install of sky go, cisco videoguard etc. and still I keep getting this message.

One thing to check is that both Sky Go and anything Cisco related have been let through your firewall.

Can you guys try this:
1. Complete uninstall of Sky Go & VideoGuard (including all files & folders).
2. Go to website and SAVE installer (don't run from website)
3. Go to Downloads folder, Right click on Installer and Run as Admin

Mines exactly the same but to be fair it wouldnt work before that i kept getting an error code 002. Sky have been no help at all. Ever since the new app I havnt been able to download shows and watch them ive had to sit through the adverts.
